Diet VS. Exercise: Which is Better?
Some people diet to lose weight, some exercise and some did both things. Do you think which one is better?
According to the June issue of Women’s Health magazine, one option may be better than the other, depending on the condition you are aiming to improve. Dr. Keri Peterson breaks it down.

Diet : Cutting calories is most direct route to weight loss.
Exercise : Physical activity causes brain to release chemicals that raise energy.
How much exercise is enough?
- Engage in moderately intense activity 30 minutes 5 days a week or vigorous activity 20 minutes 3 days a week.
Reducing risk of heart disease
- 1 in 3 American women has some form of cardiovascular disease.
- Diet & Exercise : Omega 3 fatty acid lower heart disease risk by up to 64%.
- Diet & Exercise : Diet low in saturated fats, high in fruits & veggies promotes heart heath.
- Diet & Exercise : Exercise strengthens cardiovascular system.
Preventing Diabetes
